Terms of use

Last updated:

These terms apply when you use Free Invoice Friend. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The service

Free Invoice Friend is a free tool for creating invoices in your browser. You don't need an account. We may change, suspend or stop the site or any of its features at any time.

Your invoices are your responsibility

  • You are responsible for the information you enter and for the invoices you create, send and keep.
  • Check every invoice before you send it, including the amounts, tax and dates.
  • Make sure your invoices meet the legal and tax requirements that apply to you; these vary by country and business.
  • Don't use the site to create false or misleading invoices, or for any unlawful purpose.

Your data stays in your browser

Invoices are created and saved in your browser's storage on your device. We don't keep a copy, so we can't recover invoices that are deleted or lost — for example when browser data is cleared. Keep your own copies of the invoices you need, such as the PDFs you download.

Not professional advice

The guides, examples and templates are general information, not legal, tax or accounting advice. See the disclaimer.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is and as available. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise that it will always be available, free of errors or suitable for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including errors in invoices you create and data lost from your browser.

Privacy and cookies

How the site handles data is explained in the privacy policy.

The cookies and browser storage it uses are listed in the cookie policy.
