This page explains what data this website handles, why, and the choices you have.

Who runs this site

Your invoices stay on your device

Invoices are created in your browser. We don't upload the invoice contents you enter — names, addresses, items, amounts, notes or logos — to a server.

Your saved invoices, logos and settings are kept in this browser's storage on your device. You can delete them at any time with “Delete all local data” in the settings under Your invoices, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

  • We use Google Analytics 4 for visit statistics: which pages are viewed, how visitors find the site and on what kind of device.
  • Analytics runs only on the home page and the invoice generator. Your invoices (the dashboard), this page and any other page are never measured.
  • Nothing happens until you choose “Accept analytics”. Before that, the Google Analytics script isn't loaded, no request is sent to Google and no analytics cookie is set.
  • If you choose “Reject analytics”, or withdraw your acceptance later, nothing more is sent to Google and the Google Analytics cookies on this site are deleted.
  • If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics isn't loaded at all and we don't ask.
  • Advertising features, ad personalization and Google signals are turned off.

Once you have accepted, Google Analytics receives:

  • the address and title of the page you view, and of the page you came from;
  • information about your browser, device and screen, and your browser's language;
  • interactions that Google Analytics measures automatically, such as page views and scrolling;
  • a random identifier stored in a cookie, so that repeat visits can be counted;
  • At collection, Google uses your IP address to derive general location information. Google Analytics does not log or store your IP address.

Google Analytics never receives the invoice contents you enter, your saved invoices or logos, or anything else this site stores in your browser. We don't send user IDs or user properties.

Cookies and storage

  • _ga and a second cookie whose name starts with _ga_: set by Google Analytics on this site only after you accept analytics, to tell visits and returning visitors apart. Google Analytics sets how long they last; they are deleted when you reject analytics.
  • fig.consent.v1 an entry in this browser's local storage that remembers your analytics choice. It is never sent anywhere.

Your saved invoices, logos and settings are kept in this browser's storage too, and are never sent anywhere.

Changing your choice

  • Use “Analytics choices” at the bottom of any page to accept or reject analytics at any time.
  • Rejecting stops analytics at once and deletes the Google Analytics cookies on this site.
  • “Delete all local data” in the settings under Your invoices also forgets your analytics choice and deletes those cookies; the site then asks again.

Google's role

Google Analytics is a service provided by Google. Google processes the analytics data on its servers, which may be located outside your country, so the data may be transferred internationally.

Google explains how it uses this data in:

How long analytics data is kept

These retention periods are set in this site's Google Analytics property. When a period ends, Google Analytics deletes that data automatically.

  • Event data (page views and other interactions recorded during visits): 2 months.
  • User data (linked to the random identifier in the _ga cookie): 14 months.
  • The user-data period restarts each time new activity from the same browser is recorded.

Legal basis

Google Analytics: Consent

Hosting

Your rights

Visitors may have rights under applicable privacy law, such as requesting access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal data where applicable. Visitors may withdraw analytics consent at any time through the site's Analytics choices control. Privacy requests can be made at [email protected].
